Healthcare providers entered their profession to help people—not to spend hours on paperwork. Yet administrative burden has become one of the leading causes of burnout, with providers spending nearly half their time on documentation instead of patient care.

Why we do it

The name "Joyera" comes from our core belief: healthcare should be joyful—for patients and providers alike. We saw too many dedicated professionals drowning in administrative tasks, losing the passion that brought them to medicine in the first place.

Traditional EHR systems were designed for billing and compliance, not for the people using them. We took a different approach: start with the provider experience, then build the technology to support it. Our AI-powered platform handles the administrative complexity so our customers can focus on the work that matters.

Founder & CEO

As a parent of children with special needs, Min founded Joyera after witnessing firsthand the immense challenges faced by her kids' healthcare and therapy providers. They're unable to bill for hours lost to administrative work and yet the technology systems they're required to use are outdated, frustrating, and time-consuming. To support our society's caregivers, Joyera is a platform built with excellence in mind. Our mission is to deliver cutting edge AI technology and seamless UI to solve the real pain points clinicians face every day.

Min brings nearly two decades of product leadership to Joyera. As Chief Product Officer at DeltaTerra Capital, she worked on climate risk intelligence platforms for institutional investors—translating complex data into actionable insights for high-stakes decisions in heavily regulated environments. Through Peko NY, her product strategy consultancy, she has advised companies in data analytics, research science, finance, and technology. As VP at Southard Communications, she led technology and corporate accounts while working with Remedy Health Media, Audible, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, and over 20 venture-backed startups.

Her commitment to mission-driven work began at the Hudson Institute, managing relations with refugees, human rights activists, and global NGOs while building bipartisan coalitions for proposed legislation.

Min lives in Westchester, NY with her husband, three out of four children, three dogs, and a cat.
